We started with an idea for a project to extend our home by converting our garage into an art studio. There were a number of possibilities for how this could be done and we consulted several local building firms to discuss and consider how things could be progressed. Damian Lee provided a prompt and efficient response to our enquiry with them, and helped with suggestions for the scheme. We felt that they were with us every step of the way, even when we changed our minds about what we wanted, concerning the plans. They were supportive at every point and gave clear advice. Prior to the work starting we felt that everything that that we had wanted had been fully incorporated into the final plan. Their quotation for the works was very competitive and Damian Lee`s team, managed to progress the planning application swiftly and we did not have to worry about anything. When the works commenced we were impressed by Damian Lee`s building and project management team, who were friendly and consulted with us at every stage, and kept us fully informed. Once work was started things started to take shape quickly and during the work itself the team took great care to work in conjunction with our neighbours, as the extension was immediately adjacent to their property. Our studio has now been completed for six months and we are delighted with the outcome. What was a rather dank flat roofed garage is now an elegant, light and airy creative space.
